This June, we're celebrating Pride. We recognise, reflect, and acknowledge the historical and current challenges facing the LGBTQIA+ community. We're also celebrating LGBTQIA+ achievements and accomplishments. But most importantly, we reflect on the strides made and the efforts we need to continue to make to become more inclusive. This month is also Men's Health Week and global day of parents. As such, we have a lot to mark this month, and here's your guide...
Start by marking Pride Month with a celebratory event. Hold a morning tea or office casual clothing day and prompt your employees to wear rainbow colours. Decorate your workspaces with flags, ribbons, and bunting.
Celebrate Men's Health Week by holding open discussions through coffee catch-ups or team meetings. Break the stigma around men seeking help by promoting judgement-free communication and Converge's confidential and free support!
Remind your teams that Converge is here to support everyone. We have our LGBTQIA+ specialist service where our consultants have specialist training and/or lived experience. They understand your employees unique needs!
Round off the month by promoting self-care. We have International Day of Yoga so why not hold an office yoga party! Think downward Dog, Cobra Pose, and Fish Posture. Yoga reduces stress, enhances mood and imporoves sleep.

Men’s Health Week, held in June, focuses on raising awareness of preventable health issues affecting men and boys. It encourages early detection, healthier lifestyle choices, and open conversations about physical and mental wellbeing.
The Global Day of Parents, celebrated on June 1st, recognises the vital role parents play in nurturing and supporting their children. It’s a day to honour their commitment, care, and the foundation they provide for healthy families and communities.
