January 2026

January is a time to reset

Kids are back to school, inboxes are waking up, and routines are rebooting. This month is about easing in - resetting sleep and energy, protecting focus at work, and smoothing the family logistics that sit around the workday. We know the summer school holidays can sometimes place extra pressure on families and relationships. Our data shows this is a time when we often see an increase in separation and relationship concerns. To provide extra support during this period, we’re shining a spotlight this month on our Counselling for Family services - so your people know they don’t have to navigate these challenges alone.

Week 1

Prepare a back-to-work campaign that allows your staff to settle back in after the break! This could be a morning tea or town hall meeting...

Week 2

Promote awareness of our Counselling for Family Support stream to ensure your teams are supported both at work and at home.

Week 3

Share this month's THRIVE Podcast, tipsheets and articles to showcase proactive wellbeing management.

Week 4

Run a back-to-school campaign for the parents in the office, as this will play a toll on your team's wellbeing!

Service Highlight

Counselling for Family Members

The weeks after the holiday period can be a lot - new school timetables, tighter budgets, changing routines and the return to work. Converge family counselling gives immediate family members, including spouses, partners and dependents, a confidential space to regroup: practical support for stress, sleep and mood; tools for communication and co-parenting; and a clear plan to help home life feel steadier as work ramps up again.

Back-to-school transitions: sleep routines, homework habits, drop-off/pick-up stress.

Communication & conflict: reconnecting after busy holidays, constructive conversations.

Co-parenting & blended families: set expectations, routines and boundaries that work.

Download and share our poster with your teams so they know we're here for them and how to access our Counselling for Family Members service!

Awareness Days

Awareness days create a shared moment to pause, learn and act. They focus attention, give teams language to start meaningful conversations, and connect personal experience to organisational values. Used well, they spark reflection, learning and inclusion - long after the day itself.
