November 2026

Being kind is free!

For November, we're exploring the power of kindness. Frankly, it's infectious! So, let's all make a concerted effort to be kinder to one another. We also observe White Ribbon Day. We have a range of resources, and our service highlight that provides respectful, tailored, and specialised support to people impacted by domestic and family violence. Movember also spans November, so we're going to showcase how to reduce mental health stigmas in men's health, why men should be open, vulnerable and honest, and why seeking help early is paramount. As always, here is your plan of action for November...

Week 1

Start November with a highlight on men's health for November. Have open discussions with the men in your teams about mental health and wellbeing. If your senior leaders feel comfortable, ask them to talk to their health journey and highlight that asking for help isn't weak.

Week 2

White Ribbon Day is a respectful moment to stand against violence toward women and commit to safer workplaces. Share clear support pathways (Converge, helplines, DFV leave), run short bystander and respectful-relationships training, refresh policies and reporting options, and invite a simple pledge or moment of reflection—centred on listening, belief, and survivor safety.

Week 3

For week 3, use Inclusion at Work Week as a chance to spotlight belonging in everyday moments. Share simple actions (allyship pledges, inclusive language tips, accessibility checks), host a short lunch-and-learn with ERGs, and amplify diverse voices through stories and panels. Close the week by capturing feedback and committing to one sustained change.

Week 4

As we finish up with week 4, we're heading into the holiday season, which can come with money stress. So, promote Financial Coaching to your teams - a topical talking point could be optimise on Black Friday and Cyber Monday (we also have resources on cyber safety).

Awareness Days

Awareness days create a shared moment to pause, learn and act. They focus attention, give teams language to start meaningful conversations, and connect personal experience to organisational values. Used well, they spark reflection, learning and inclusion—long after the day itself.
