A breakdown of required qualifications at each level of support.
The Converge team includes:
- Over 1900 registered psychologists, social workers, and specialist counsellors. All clinicians are registered with their relevant membership bodies (see below) and possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience across a wide range of specialised services.
- Organisational psychologists and management coaches experienced in the coaching and support of supervisors and managers under the specific Manager Assist EAP service.
- Rapid Response/Emergency Response clinicians with a minimum of five years of experience in providing urgent interventions in group or individual settings in relation to: Crisis counselling and critical incident response involving death, trauma, serious illness or suicide of a colleague, assault, threat of assault and severe threat to health and safety; and Emergency and Disaster Recovery plans for staff and the public as required.
Utilising a multi-disciplinary team provides access to more resources and allows for better response times, timely assistance, and optimum service delivery to meet the needs of our customers. All Converge Psychologists must be nationally registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and other clinicians must be registered with the professional associations applicable to their professions. These include:
