How many sessions can you approve on top of the standard allocation?

You can approve 10-12 TOTAL, depending on the contract and the recommendations of the consultant and clinical team. For example, if there are 6 available, you could potentially approve a further 4-6 additional sessions.  
 
We have also designed the requests so that you can adjust the number โ€“ i.e. if the request says 4, you might decide to approve 2 sessions only in that instance.  
 
Additional sessions will also be flagged for clinical review if it is looking excessive, inappropriate, too frequent and a number of other markers. Also, once it hits the 10-session mark, it would automatically be flagged for clinical review.
