Can you manually enter a workout, or steps in the app?

We understand that not everyone has a fitness tracker, so we’ve included an option to manually enter an activity into the app. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you with that: 
  1. Open the app on your device. 
  2. Navigate to the “Health” tab. 
  3. Look for the “Activity” section and click on it. 
  4. Within the “Activity” section, you’ll find an option labelled “Manual Workout Log”. Click on it to proceed. 

 Once you’re in the manual workout log, you’ll be prompted to enter details about your activity including: 

  • The type of activity you performed. 
  • The date and time of the activity. 
  • The duration of the activity. 
  • The intensity of your workout. 

You unfortunately won’t be able to directly input a specific number of steps, however, the app will automatically convert the workout information into steps. 

All step activities (cycling, running, walking) will be automatically converted into steps (this does require a phone or smart device that records this). The manual input portion comes in for activities that are not “step based” such as swimming, yoga, etc. The Converge app will then use an advanced scoring methodology to convert that activity into equivalent steps. Converge is also able to monitor the data to ensure that the challenge is fair for everyone, and no cheating is taking place.
