What's Move?
Converge Move is a team-based physical activity challenge that encourages your employees to stay active, boost mental wellbeing, and strengthen social connections. Participants can increase their step count and maintain these improvements even after the challenge ends. Plus, it’s completely free!
Join us in our 4-week journey across a range of First Nations' heritage sites and explore the oldest culture in the world, and where they have called home for thousands of years. We'll also hold two mini challenges: Weekend Warrior and Mind & Body to spice up the competition. 👀
Heat up the competition and sign up for our global leaderboard.
We're offering all Converge clients signing up for the Move challenge the opportunity to be included in a global leaderboard. The leaderboard will rank each organisation based on your employees' average step count. This is totally optional!
Want to know more?
We'll be holding a series of information sessions for you and your employees, including a how-to guide on accessing the challenge and answering all the questions you may have! Keep your eyes peeled; dates are coming very soon.

Converge NAIDOC Move Challenge is a 4-week challenge that promotes health and wellbeing amongst your employees.
Each of your employees can create their own teams, elect to be placed in a team, or join other teams as they journey across First Nations' heritage sites.
To get started, all your employees need to do is download the Converge App, join the Move Challenge (which can be found in the challenges section of their app), create or select a team, and start walking!
We'll handle all communications to your employees as the challenge progresses, including fun emails and insights into their progress.
They can even connect and sync their fitness tracker or their phone to record and monitor their steps on the go, or enter their activity manually. Everyone can get involved!
It's as easy as that! Take a look at our resources below for how-to guides, posters, email templates to get your employees involved, and more!
Before the challenge starts, here is everything you need to do to engage your employees and successfully kick off the challenge.
- Download and share our posters before registrations open
- Email your employees sharing the NAIDOC Move Challenge news and highlight how they can get involved before registrations open (you'll find an email template in the resources above)
- Keep engaging your employees to get as many people onboard the challenge as possible - after all, there are many physical and mental health benefits in undertaking the Converge Move Challenge!
- Post on your social media channels that you're undergoing a brand-new move challenge - we find many of your employees follow your social channels, so this is one of the best ways to engage them (and be sure to tag Converge)
During the challenge, the engagement does not stop there! So, here are all the steps you need to maintain engagement during the challenge...
- Share our weekly leaderboard, which shows where your organisation sits compared to others (we'll email this leaderboard to you each week!)
- If your employees reach a step-milestone, be sure to share our accomplishment poster (you'll find these posters in the "during the challenge" resources above)
- Advertise the mini-challenges via the posters in the "during the challenge" resource section. We have our Mind & Body and Weekend Warrior competitiont. Be sure to share these at least a week before the challenge commences.
When the challenge finishes, it's time to highlight many of the continued benefits the Converge App holds...
- Share the final leaderboard to showcase what your employees accomplished
- Post on your social channels that you've successfully completed the Converge Move Challenge (don't forget to tag us!)
- Provide the "Congratulations, you've completed the Converge Move Challenge" poster that you'll find in the "after the challenge" resource section
- Showcase all the great challenges and insights available in the Converge App, including the Insight Library, Money Matters Module, PlateUp, H20, Sleep Well and more!
During the course of the challenge, there will be two mini-challenges...
Mind & Body:
- A team-based challenge where each team will use our mood check-in module over the course of a week.
- The most check-ins win!
- The Mind & Body challenge will take place at the mid-way point of the challenge.
Weekend Warrior:
- An individual challenge
- The winner is the person who achieves the most steps over the weekend
- The Weekend Warrior challenge will take place towards the end of the challenge.
